Description

LIMITED EDITION
The process of creating this beautiful lampshade was joyful enough. But once illuminated, it instantly brought to mind a deep blue galaxy, shining brightly with stars and the tails of shooting asteroids. Completely awe-inspiring, a little bit magical, but oh so peaceful. And constructing it soothed my soul.

A stunning structural design entirely made of paper, the Juno Blue has a pattern of colourful lines, and a series of punched holes for the light to shine through. Cleverly engineered, it’s made of ten large paper rhombuses, which you fold as instructed and connect with rubber bands. Pink bands, for extra impact! (The folding process alone is thoroughly therapeutic.)

Made by earth friendly in Goa, India. Juno is an eco-friendly and fair trade product. The lamps are 100% safety tested, with permanent quality checks. Each earth friendly product is an original.

Contents:
Juno is carefully packed flat and is easily assembled into its 3D format. Each package contains the following:
  • 10 paper rhombuses - 5 with studs, 5 without
  • Rubber band packet
  • Instructions
  • Distance protector (ensures a safe distance between the light bulb and the lampshade)
  • Cable, plugs, switches & holder and halogen lights are NOT included.
Lightbulb requirements: Maximum 60W incandescent, or 42W energy saving bulb.

Construction: Fold each section as instructed and connect with rubber bands. Each Juno comes with a distance protector, a plastic frame that ensures the paper lampshade doesn’t touch the bulb. Clear and complete instructions are included.

Assembled size: Diameter 36cm

Disclaimers: The light this lampshade gives out is not as bright as the Juno Pink. But it is an absolute work of art. The dark blue gives out a deep, peaceful light, allowing the ‘stars’ and colours to shine. Perhaps a nightlight, secondary lighting in a bedroom, or hung in a grouping to illuminate the sky.
